About Us

Kleer-Fax has been proudly open for business since 1972.  Our founder, Daniel F. Nigro, a WWII veteran who served as a CID investigator for the Army, opened the company in a 4,000 sq. foot facility in Mineola, NY.  The company was then relocated to a nearby 6,000 sq. foot facility in 1974, the same year that our current president, Louis Nigro, joined the ranks.

Kleer-Fax offers a wide range of quality office products including printed and insertable index tabs, recycled legal exhibit tabs, reinforced filler paper, machineable indexes, file pockets, expanding wallets, and classification folders.  At Kleer-Fax, we believe in green initiatives, and have been certified with the Forest Stewardship Council since 2009 (FSC-C014618).  We also believe in keeping manufacturing jobs in America.  There have been many opportunities presented to us to move the company to locations offshore where we could increase our bottom line.  But we believe our bottom line is not merely comprised of the profits we keep at the end of the day.  It is also about the people who work here, their families and their loyalty to our company.  Many of our employees – factory and office staff alike – have worked here in excess of 15 years.

Over the years we have succeeded in reaching several goals.  We maintain our entire operation under one roof and make all of our goods in America.  In the interest of our environment, most of our 2,700 products are made from recycled materials.   And in the interest of our customers, our products are of high quality and sold at competitive prices.
